The Old University Residents’ Neighbourhood Association is incorporated as a non-profit community organization. Membership dues are paid annually to the Association and are used to fund the cost of holdings two meetings annually, production and distribution of a bi-annual newsletter, as well as other costs associated with providing representation to our community.
- Member -
Everyone residing within the boundaries of OUNRA is automatically a member of this organization. Members of OUNRA will receive our semi-annual newsletters as well as other relevant information such as where and when our general meetings are held and what they will be about. Announcements and other neighbourhood information can also be found on our Facebook page.
- Contributing Member -
Contributing Members pay an annual fee of $20. As a Contributing Member, your fee is used to help fund the cost of printing our twice-yearly newsletter and to provide some operating money for the Association. Costs are incurred for our twice-a-year annual meetings, maintaining our website and membership in the Federation of Urban Neighbourhoods of Ontario. On occasion, we have also covered expenses associated with legal and other help involved in appeals to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (which has replaced the Ontario Municipal Board).
Your contribution to OUNRA is very much appreciated.
